We really enjoy the complete tranquillity here, atop this hill in the ‘Tuscany of France’, and the breathtaking panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. On clear days, you can even see the Pyrenees, which lie some 80 kilometres away.
When redeveloping this country house, built in 1864, we made a conscious decision to opt for a thoughtful and stylish renovation. We were assisted in this by an experienced architect who, like us, showed great respect for the authenticity of the property and had an eye for the timeless elegance of this unique place.
We opted for tasteful décor, where understated luxury and authentic, rustic materials come together harmoniously. It is also very pleasing that, thanks to the six spacious bedrooms, we can offer every comfort to our family and guests. This way, everyone can find a spot to relax at their own pace. The living areas, meanwhile, exude a warm, inviting atmosphere: a glass of Château Montus by the fireside, an intimate concert on the Hofmann grand piano, a cosy chat in the wine cellar, a refreshing break in one of the jacuzzis…
Outside, the large infinity pool and spacious pool house provide the perfect setting for lazing about, whilst the tennis court and beautifully landscaped garden offer the perfect balance between activity and serenity. Another exclusive bonus for enthusiasts: the wine cellar and large ‘chai’, ideal for tasting local wines. There is always plenty to do in the surrounding area too. An absolutely unique setting to get together, relax and create unforgettable memories.
